Аннотация

Предметом изучения данной статьи являются парламентские дебаты, посвященные австрийской политике Великобритании в 1945 – 1955 гг. Оккупация Австрии оказалась серьезным бременем для Великобритании, поднимала ряд острых вопросов, которые обсуждались в национальном парламенте. Среди них: создание работоспособной администрации в Австрии; денацификация; репатриация австрийцев; сокращение и вывод войск; налаживание топливного и продовольственного снабжения; затраты на оккупацию; заключение Государственного Договора и др. Статья написана на основе анализа опубликованных документальных источников Национального архива Великобритании, а также стенограмм заседаний палаты общин.
