Abstract
The study of the period of Nazi occupation of Belarus in the framework of local history on the example of cities and towns, at this stage of development of the domestic historiography seems relevant. Moreover, in the absence of direct sources on the topic concerned. This article was first introduced into scientific use of archival documents found in the National archives of the Republic of Belarus. In particular, the original plan, Polotsk on October 20, 1942, N.A. Manisa (one of the underground, Polotsk) with application to him of military and civilian objects and the explanatory note, known before only restored after the war.
