IMPROVING THE ACCURACY OF BLOCK-MODULAR BORING CUTTING TOOLS

Abstract
The system of block-modular boring cutting tools with micrometric blade setting is considered, model of stresses and displacements in a threaded adjustment mechanism is proposed and analyzed, the results of experimental researches of the accuracy and rigidity of tools are given, recommendations on the design of high-precision boring heads, cartridges and tool inserts are given.
