CALCULATION OF THE RESOLUTION WHILE SCANNING FOR PROVIDING ACCURACY FOR DETERMINING COORDINATES

Abstract
As the error ellipses give us more accurate information about average square errors, the data got on their basis were used for justification of the formulae of precalculation of the accuracy of determining the coordinates of the points on the surface and the formulae of the calculation of resolution while scanning to provide necessary accuracy of determining coordinates. The results of the calculation according to the suggested formulae proved their correctness. Approximate calculation of the scale to 500 units doesn’t influence the results of the calculation of resolution while scanning. If the staff are of low qualification, correlation factor can be introduced to the denominator of the formulae of the calculation of resolution while scanning, but not for the errors in scanning, stereoscopic aiming, recognizing and measuring points. These errors are taken into account in average square errors of measuring coordinates on digital pictures.
