DESIGN CONCEPT OF THE ARCHITECTURAL ENVIRONMENT OF VITEBSK

Abstract

Design of architectural environment is the art of designing object-space environment, which aims at optimizing the functional processes of human life and improving its aesthetic level. The main objective of the design of architectural environment is connected with the formulation and solution of a special type of project tasks notable for the complex use of the means of spatial and object organization of habitation in a variety of fields – from housing to social and cultural ones. Design concept of forming the artistic look of Vitebsk was de-veloped to determine the main strategic directions of development of the urban environment in the field of design. The implementation of the design concept will increase the prestige of Vitebsk, increase its investment attractiveness, attract a conceptual process of intellectual and creative potential of the city, and create conditions for the introduction of new technologies and advanced materials while doing decoration work.
