Abstract

The article presents the results of verification experimental studies of the bending resistance of two-span statically indeterminate reinforced concrete beams with various variants of combined reinforcement with metal and composite (based on glass fiber) rods of the stretched zone of the central support section. A methodology for conducting experimental verification studies was developed, prototypes of two-span statically indeterminate reinforced concrete beams were manufactured and tested. It has been experimentally established that the most effective use of combined reinforcement in the beams under consideration is achieved when the amount of composite component reinforcement is at least 20% of the total number of rod reinforcement in the stretched cross-section zone. The maximum rotation angles of experimental samples of beams that do not exceed the maximum permissible values are determined.
