THE PRESERVATION OF THE PROPERTIES OF MORTAR IN WINTER CONDITIONS

Abstract

The problem of preserving the properties of mortars during Construction and installation works in conditions of negative temperatures of external air is considered. It is shown that it is necessary to warm up the solution in order to avoid freezing of water, while preserving all its properties and saving energy for its heating. The authors of the presented work offer a special metal box for heating having double walls and a bottom, between which there is a heat transfer medium and an electric heater of a tubular type. As a heat transferring medium used inorganic salt such sodium salts of phosphoric acid, moreover, the drawer is provided with a temperature sensor, a heat transferring medium and is connected with the relays, which allows maintaining the desired temperature of the medium and creating uniform heating and uniform temperature distribution on the inner wall of the box.
