SETTING TO DETERMINE THE LENGTH OF THE ZONE OF TRANSMISSION OF STRESS IN THE PRE-STRESSED REINFORCEMENT CONCRETE ELEMENTS

Abstract
The actual problem of determination of bond between prestressed reinforcement and concrete is considered. In order to estimate a transmission length and an anchorage length as main characteristics of bond between reinforcement and concrete two modifications of ECADA method are suggested. ECADA method allows determining transmission length by means of measuring the force supported by the tendon before and after release. Both variants presented in this paper are explained and have its advantages; they both can be used for estimation of the characteristics mentioned above. More reasonable variant of modified test plant has been calculated and manufactured. Trial experiment has been held in order to prove the possibility of using the plant for determination of bond characteristics such as transmission length.
