GENERAL RULES FOR ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION IN ACCIDENTS IN OIL PIPELINES

Abstract

The problem of the lack of a systematic approach to the elimination of accidents with the release of oil to the ground and entry into aquifers is considered. The tasks have been set for the organization of a system for protecting land and groundwater from oil pollution. The necessity of development of standard methods of liquidation of oil spills is substantiated for minimization of consequences of pollution of the earths and underground waters is grounded. The classification features that can be used as a basis for a new production classification of lands and groundwaters are singled out, which makes it possible to determine the degree of spread and danger of the oil pollution impact of the accident with the release of oil are given. The ranking is given according to the severity of accidents on land and when oil enters the soil water, which makes it possible to make a forecast for the spread of oil and calculate the environmental and economic damage to the environment.
