Abstract

The article presents the results of a study of the architectural development of additional education of children in Belarus. On the basis of the obtained data were used to determine periods of architectural development of institutions of additional education of children: the beginning (1917–1930), continuation (1930s – early 1990s), development (1991–2015), as well as the features of architectural solutions with specific examples in the Republic. Reviewed regulatory materials rules governing the design of buildings to further the education of children. Trends that characterize the development processes and improvement of the system of additional education.
