Abstract
The article presents data on the effect of disperse reinforcement with alkali-wool glass waste on the strength and density of foam, gas and polystyrene concrete. The optimal number and length of fibers of alkaliresistant glass mesh is determined. It is shown that the length of the fibers in the glass mesh should be 20…30 mm, the amount of alkali-resistant glass mesh for foam concrete density 300…400 kg/m3 should be no more than 1% of the binder mass, for polystyrene concrete, density 400…500 kg/m3 – 10% of the weight of the binder; for aerated concrete, with a density of 1050 kg/m3 – 5…8% of the mass of the binder. It has been established that disperse reinforcement with waste of alkali-resistant glass mesh increases the strength of foam concrete by 42,9%, aerated concrete by 15,4% and polystyrene concrete by 5,9%. By the methods of microscopic analysis, the presence of hydration formations on an area of 10 to 20% of the surface of the fiber glass fibers extracted from the foam concrete was determined.
