PRINCIPLES OF CALCULATION OF DESIGN COMBINATIONS IN ACCORDANCE WITH TCP EN 1990

Abstract
The article is devoted to the review of the deterministic approach to the combination of loads in accordance with the normative document TCP EN 1990, which is currently used in the Republic of Belarus in the calculation of building structures. The aim of this work is to provide with the generalized information about the method of choosing the design combination of loads for various groups of limit states in accordance with different types of representative values of variable loads. As an example of compilation of design combinations of impacts for testing the ultimate limit state of a structure, and for inspections within the serviceability limit state, a conditional steel column is considered that belongs to the second class of reliability RC2, subject to constant, functional (category of the premise D – a trading premise), a snow and wind loadings.
