TO THE QUESTION OF THE CHOICE OF OPTIONS OF VOLUME-PLANNING AND CONSTRUCTION DECISIONS WHEN DESIGNING LARGE PANEL RESIDENTIAL BUILDINGS

Abstract
It is shown that at present the architectural solutions used in the design of large-panel residential buildings in the Republic of Belarus do not meet modern requirements. External (limiting) and internal (target) factors influencing the choice of space-planning and design solutions in the design of large-panel residential buildings are identified. The main requirements and criteria for their design and construction are systematized. On the basis of the given criteria for choosing the most optimal layout of residential buildings, it was proposed to use the principles of an open typing system, and ways to reduce it were outlined: material intensity, labor intensity, heat loss, cost, and improvement of living comfort. Considered the design of the supporting frame and exterior panels. The most economical variants of space-planning and design solutions for large-panel residential buildings for the new series are presented.
