Abstract
The main provisions of “Strut-and-ties” model, based on the current code requirements are considered. The basic requirements for design and calculation of resistance of compression and tension model elements are summarized. Various approaches to the calculation of the resistance of compression elements, taking into account the softening coefficient of concrete are presented.
