APPLICATION OF MICROSILICA SUSPENSION IN BELARUS

Abstract
The influence of chemical admixtures, silica fume and silica fume suspension on properties of fresh and hard concrete is investigated in this work. Effects of different dosages and different types (superplasticizer and air entraining) of chemical admixtures and silica fume on workability, the loss of workability and compressive strength were investigated. It is shown that effective plasticizers for cement are not such for silica fume and vice versa. The necessity of the development of silica fume suspension in the Republic of Belarus is shown, as the most convenient to use form, which allows to reduce the cost of concrete in comparison with import analogues.
