RECOMMENDED ALGORITHM FOR GETTING A BUILDING FRONT WITH SURVEY CAMERA OF THE TOTAL STATION

Abstract
The paper reveals the formal for major procedures, which need to be performed while creating the building fronts consisting of flat elements, by images made with the total station survey camera. Since the images have very little overlap, a single image method is used, which makes it impossible to define the Y coordinate in lab. However, in case of the Y axis being perpendicular to the building front, it is possible to restore the perpendicular to the building plane and define its length using the total station checkpoints. In this case all three (X, Y, Z) coordinates can be defined in the necessary grid system for any points of the building. At the 30-meter distance one can create building front plan with the necessary accuracy in the 1:300 scale or less.
