Abstract

The article is devoted to the use of software simulators in the educational process, the main advantages of such use are noted. The characteristics of the three modules that make up the virtual simulators are given. The authors have developed an educational and training simulator of optical theodolites for teaching and testing knowledge in the study of geodetic disciplines. Its software implementation is made in the high-level programming language Python. Is given principle of operation of the created basic version of the program, focused on the study of the of reading devices of theodolites of types 2T5K and 2T30, as well as the developed extended version, designed to simulate the measurement process during the production tacheometrie.
