GEODESIC MONITORING OF THE EARTH’S CRUST MOVEMENT ON THE SPITAK GEODYNAMIC POLYGON

Abstract
In the article the analysis of materials of geodesic observations is presented. These observations were made on the territory of Armenia at different intervals. The data about the chronology of monitoring geodesic measurements; about the location of the Spitak geodynamic polygon, the map of modern vertical movements of the Earth’s crust are given. The application of modern devices and technologies for the research in the Spitak geodynamic polygon are observed. To study the vertical movements of the Earth’s crust in the considered area leveling of the first class is necessary. Moreover, in the active fault zone leveling operation must be carried out by 3 cycles of one cycle per year.
