Abstract
This article examines the influence of humidity on the thermal conductivity and durability of wheat straw wall blocks. Water vapor sorption isotherms were constructed for samples placed in desiccators. The kinetics of water vapor sorption by samples of various compositions were determined. The dependences of thermal conductivity on humidity for the developed and patented wall material were obtained. These dependences were approximated by a linear function with a high correlation coefficient. Based on the results of monitoring wall blocks exposed directly to the atmosphere, a conclusion was reached regarding their durability. The results of the study can be used to take into account the influence of humidity on the thermal conductivity coefficient and durability when selecting compositions for the production of building blocks from plant-based raw materials, as well as a material for the educational process of construction specialties in higher and secondary specialized educational institutions.
