EVALUATION OF THE PARAMETERS AND CHARACTERISTICS OF THE SPEECH SIGNAL REPRESENTED BY A PERIODIC SEQUENCE OF DISCRETISATION PULSES

Abstract
The results of the research on the parameters and characteristics of a speech signal represented by a periodic sequence of discretisation pulses are presented. Shows how additional spectral components arise due to the discrete transformation of analogue speech signals and their dependence on analogue-to-digital conversion parameters. The fine structure of the signal is investigated for the detection of quantisation noise harmonics in the leakage channels. Methods to improve the evaluation quality of the transmitted speech signal parameters in the 100 to 10 kHz range with a sampling interval of 5.2 µs are investigated.
