SIMULATION OF COMPRESSION ECBAQ MODIFICATION WITH REPRESENTATION IN CEOS FORMAT OF EARTH REMOTE SENSING DAT

Abstract
Features of the representation of compressed complex SAR radar data in CEOS format for the possibility of their further processing by existing software packages are considered. The general scheme of the algorithm and the results of modeling for compression and recording of complex data in a standard format are presented. As the initial data, the values of the reflected ERS-1 signal with In –phase and Quadrature phase components were used. Data compression is performed based on entropy-constrained block adaptive quantization modification algorithm. The proposed processing algorithm is implemented in MatLab software. Experimental results are presented in the paper.
