IDENTIFICATION OF ANISOTROPIC PLASMA ENVIRONMENTS OF THIS TYPE

Abstract
The problem of identification of hydrocarbon deposits is defined in the article. Examples of their practical application are provided. Hydrocarbons properties are considered. The author gives differentiation between the tasks of search and identification of hydrocarbon deposits. Contrast analysis of the reflection coefficients between anisotropic medium and homogeneous underlying surface is carried out. A dual-frequency electromagnetic signal was chosen as the probe effect. Vertical polarization of electromagnetic waves is used. The analysis was performed for the normal incidence of waves on the surface of discontinuity of media. We consider two modes of interaction. The results can be used in the field of search geophysics.
