Abstract

An intelligent information transportation management system (IITMS) is considered, which implements a new approach to the organization of the transport process, consisting in continuous automatic reproduction of the cycle «monitoring demand for transportation – data analysis – adaptive response of the transport system». The concept of an intelligent high-speed transportation system (IHSTS) is proposed as an IITMS management object. The basic principles of the IHSTS operation are considered. The mathematical support of the IITMS is considered through mathematical models of intelligent transportation management algorithms, trigger conditions for launching transportation, and a transportation efficiency assessment system that allows real-time search for the optimal transportation plan based on a competitive choice among the proposed transportation plans. The IITMS software is considered, the functionality of which is based on mathematical software. Experimental test results are presented, indicating the advantages of organizing transportation via IITMS.
