Аннотация

Артыкул працягвае шэраг публікацый аўтара, прысвечаных літаратурнай спадчыне пра Першую сусветную вайну, створанай айчыннымі і замежнымі мастакамі слова. Аб’ектам даследавання выступіла сукупнасць твораў амерыканскіх празаікаў, якія асэнсоўвалі падзеі 1914–1918 гг. з невялікай часавай адлегласці (у 1920–1930-я гг.). Вынікам праведзенага аналізу твораў Т. Бойда, У. Кэзэр, Дж. Дос Пасаса, Л. Столінгса, Э. Уортан, У. Фолкнера, Э. Хемінгуэя і інш. паўстала тыпалогія найбольш рэпрэзентатыўных амерыканскіх празаічных тэкстаў паводле пэўных ідэйна-стылёвых дамінант, што дазваляюць меркаваць пра тэматычную разнастайнасць літаратуры ЗША пра Першую сусветную вайну. Акрамя літаратуры «страчанага пакалення», якая ўспрымаецца як адмысловая класіка, увага звернута на спадчыну пісьменнікаў-прапагандыстаў, жаночую ваенную прозу, творы афра-амерыканцаў, якія доўгі час знаходзіліся на перыферыі літаратуразнаўчых росшукаў.
