HUMAN AS A MACROTEXT OBJECT IN THE SPACE OF THE BELARUSIAN PRESS

Abstract
The article dwells on dialogic relations of a complementary (additional) type in the printed media discourse of Belarus in various historical periods (in the 1930s, 1941–1943, 2018–2021). The study analyses macrotext unities about people published in the Belarusian republican, regional, district, city newspapers. Macrotext unity is seen as a set of articles on the same newspaper page that are semantically related to each other. The publications that are combined with the help of complementary relations add different "colors" to the overall palette of images complementing each other and emphasizing different aspects of socially desirable qualities and behavioral models. The paper outlines main personal and business qualities that are highlighted in the press depending on the social, political and cultural situation in society in a particular period and determines the role of evaluativeness in the functioning of the macrotext.
