Abstract
This article analyzes the social and political situation in the south-western Belarus in 1944–1950 years in connection with activities in the region organized by the anti-Soviet underground. The author examines the impact of the underground in the mood of the local population, state economic activities and personnel policy in the Brest and Pinsk regions. The article gives examples of armed confrontation and the departments of the Ukrainian underground organs of state security, sabotage population management activities of power and anti- Soviet agitation.
