Abstract

Analyzes the semantics of Russian verbs in the water in comparison to their Persian correlates and features of its expression in the Persian language. The analysis identified several non-obvious semantic characteristics of verbs in the water to detect the ontological aspects that receive priority designation in the compared languages, to identify a number of regularities of linguistic representations of motion in the liquid environment in the Russian and Persian languages and set as common for units to compare the semantic features of languages in the values of the studied verbs and the semantic differences that determine the different types by their cross-language correlations.
