Abstract

The article deals with the events of the English bourgeois revolution in the presentation of the famous British historian, publicist, public and political figure of the first half of the XIX century, T.B. Macaulay. Re-searchers have created a fundamental work devoted to data milestones English history under the title "History of England from the accession of James II to the throne," which expounded his views on the revolutionary events. The article attempts to define the role of the English bourgeois revolution in the conception of history T.B. Macaulay.
