ORGANIZATION OF PROSTHETIC WORK IN THE BSSR (1943–1970)

Abstract
The article analyzes the main areas of activity of the social security agencies of the BSSR in organizing prosthetic business in the republic (1943–1970). The process of formation and improvement of prosthetic enterprises, expansion of the range of manufactured products and development of new types of them are considered. The mechanism of providing prosthetic and orthopedic products to those in need, as well as the procedure for providing, repairing and servicing specialized vehicles for the disabled are shown.
