ARTISTIC EVALUATION OF BELARUS DESTINY ON THE PAGES OF THE “BELARUSKI PIONEER” MAGAZINE IN 1924–1929

Abstract
The article deals with the features of the artistic representation of Belarus image, its past on the pages of the “Belarusian Pioneer” magazine as part of the national narrative of Belarusian literature in the early 20th century. The sources of factual material for the analysis were belles-lettres and publicistic texts selected by continuous sampling from the issues of the “Belarusian Pioneer” magazine in 1924–1929 (the main research methods are the cultural-historical method, interpretative analysis and contextual analysis). The description of the two periods (pre-revolutionary and post-revolutionary society) and the contrast of sociopolitical living conditions in Soviet and Western Belarus are defined as the main artistic strategy for revealing Belarusian history in the belles-lettres and journalistic discourse of the magazine, it is aimed at educating children and youth in a system of strong beliefs about cultural, historical and social conditions, stages of formation and development of national identity and statehood.
