WAR AND THE PROBLEM OF DEFORMATION OF PERSONALITY AND PEACE IN THE NOVEL OF WIESLAW MYSLIWSKI “A TREATISE ON SHELLING BEANS”

Abstract
This article considers the problem of deformation of the personality and the world in the novel of W. Mysliwski “A Treatise on Shelling Beans”. The problem of war is one of the main in the oeuvre of writer. Unusual display of military reality and consequences of the postwar period is subjected to deep analysis. In his works, W. Mysliwski not directly displays historical events. Using refracting of the world through the personal experiences of the characters, the author does not lose the epic breadth of the representation of reality, and enriches it greatly. The purpose of this article is a comprehensive and integrated analysis of military issues in the novel of W. Mysliwski “A Treatise on Shelling Beans”, which is unknown to the Belarusian reader. Scientific novelty lies in the fact that the article considers the work, which is unique not only for Polish literature but also for world literature.
