Abstract
Based on the materials of the All-Union Population Census on December 17, 1926, the composition of the owners of handicraft enterprises in urban settlements of the Byelorussian SSR is considered with an emphasis on the structure of their specialization in connection with the main branches of the handicraft industry, with belonging to groups in relation to the use of wage labor and nationality.
