SUBECT’S TEXTUALIZATION AND THE “END OF HISTORY” IN M. BRADBURY’ NOVELS

Abstract
The article deals with such thematic particularities of Bradbury’s works as the textualization of the subject, society and culture, and the author’s understanding of the Western and Eastern Europe history and the posthistorical postmodern situation. The author hyperbolized the subject’s textual nature comparing his conscience and body with the text that enunciates its existence with the help of various semantic systems and that cannot be read unambiguously. The author projected the postmodernist text features on society as well. Bradbury’s novels are heavily politicized. They often portray a naive liberal’s actions and thoughts in a for-merly “hostile” Eastern Europe who is dissatisfied with the “end of history” situation and wants to restore the undermined oppositions, to resist globalization, culture homogenization, identity standardization and in-dividuality dispersion.
