THE HISTORY OF BELARUS RESEARCH IN BELORUSSIAN HISTORIOGRAPHY FROM 1990 TH TILL THE BEGINNING OF XX CENTURY (MAIN PROBLEMS AND TENDENCIES OF THE FEUDAL BELARUS HISTORY RESEARCH, BELORUSSIAN HISTORIOGRAPHY AND SOURCE STUDY)

Abstract

The main stages and tendencies of development of the historical-culturological school of modern Belorussian historiography are detected. The questions ofBelorussian feudalism, of the role of the Orthodox Church in the life of Belorussian society in XI - XX centuries are studied. The critical analysis of the problems of the modern historiography of the Great Lithuanian Principality and Belarus in the end of XX - beginning of XXI centuries is presented. Sociopolitical and ideological reasons, defining the specific character of the evolution of Belorusian historiographic views of the end of XX century, concerning the Orthodox Church history in history and culture of the Belorussian nation of the second millenium are defined. The main questions for the further study of historiography of the beginning ofXXI century are indicated.
