VARIABLE PARADIGMS OF TEXTUALITY IN HOME AND FOREIGN LINGUISTICS

Abstract
The article considers some basic variants of classical approach to the interpretation of text and explores the paradigms of textuality which came into being together with a number of innovations in literary theory, modern linguistics, semiotics as well as together with some deconstructive ideas in Hermeneutics and Philosophy related to the interpretation of text. It offers the understanding of text as a complex semiotic entity and outlines approaches of P. Ricoeur, J. Derrida, R. Barthes, J. Kristeva. Special attention is given to the theory of geno- and phenotext of the latter. The article claims the possibility of creative usage of the new paradigms of textuality and works out a few common features for all approaches which are significant for the anthropocentric description of language. They are as follows: viewing the text as the aim and product of language activity and interpreting the speaking subject as a relevant variable for the manifestation of text.
