THE AESTHETIC PARADIGM OF THE BLOOMSBURY GROUP AND ITS RECEPTION IN THE WORK OF VIRGINIA WOOLF

Abstract
The article examines the fundamental role of the Bloomsbury Group in shaping and the subsequent evolution of Virginia Woolf's aesthetic views. Through a comprehensive analysis of the philosophical and aesthetic concepts of G. E. Moore, R. Fry, and C. Bell, the key vectors of their influence on the writer's modernist poetics are identified. The article argues that the synthesis of philosophical ideas, the engagement with the expressive potential of painting, and the commitment to literary experimentation – the defining features of Bloomsbury aesthetics – enabled the writer to develop a unique conception of art, with "moments of being" as its central element.
