METHODS OF THE ASSESSMENT OF CHEMICAL STABILITY OF AUTOMOBILE GASOLINES

Abstract
Existing methods and criteria of an assessment of chemical stability of automobile gasolines are considered. It is shown, that now the most objective indicator characterizing chemical stability of gasolines, the content in them the gums is. The technique of an assessment of dynamics of accumulation of gums in gasoline is offered at its accelerated oxidation. Results of studying of properties of samples of gasoline of the RON-92-K5-EURO, and influences of duration of their oxidation in the conditions of STB ISO 7536 on change of the content of gums in them are given. It is shown, that the offered method possesses rather high sensitivity and is potentially suitable for an assessment of relative chemical stability of automobile gasolines. The possible directions of practical application of an offered technique of an assessment of dynamics of accumulation of gums in automobile gasoline are offered at its accelerated oxidation.
