Abstract
It is noted that when studying the design of electric vehicle mechanisms and components, it is advisable to use testing – that is, a method for assessing students' knowledge, skills, and abilities, using standardized tasks to objectively assess their mastery of the educational material. The author proposes thematic tests that help determine the degree of mastery of specific sections and topics in the course "Electrical Equipment and Power Electronics of Electric and Autonomous Vehicles." Illustrated tests are provided that are characteristic of complex processes, allowing for the prediction of the behavior of electric vehicle subsystems and components under various conditions, optimization of parameters to achieve desired characteristics, and the development of more reliable and efficient technical solutions. Illustrated tests are especially relevant when studying the complex, multifaceted processes characteristic of modern electrical engineering and electronics. Visualization helps students better understand the relationships between various components, their operating principles, and the specific features of their functioning under a variety of operating conditions. This promotes a deeper and more holistic understanding of the material, overcoming the difficulties associated with abstract theoretical concepts. Testing helps future specialists adapt to rapidly changing industry requirements. Students with deep theoretical knowledge and practical skills based on objective assessment are prepared to solve current engineering problems and make a significant contribution to the development of innovative technologies in electric transport.
