Abstract
The article considers factor pipe properties and manufacturing method, an analysis of mechanical tests of selected samples of defective areas was carried out, as well as an analysis of the results of laboratory studies. A number of factors have been identified, which together accompany the formation and further development of defects such as stress corrosion cracking (hereinafter referred to as CRN).
