NOISE LEVEL STUDY DURING RUNNING OF MOTOR AND TRACTOR ENGINES

Abstract
An increased noise level is considered as one of the most dangerous and harmful production factors for the operators of the rolling-testing stations. The carried out researches have shown that at bench run-in of automotive tractor engines YaMZ-238, D260 and D243 in conditions of engine repair plant, the YaMZ-238 engine generates the greatest noise level. The excess comes at medium and high frequencies, which leads to considerable fatigue of the employee and, as a consequence, to a decrease in his efficiency and attention, thereby increasing the risk of an accident or the development of occupational disease.
