PECULIARITIES OF RESTORING DETAILS BY METHODS OF METALIZATION USING COMPOSITE POWDER WIRE

Abstract
The use of composite powder wires in the processes of electric arc metallization is considered. It is shown that it is necessary to take into account the size of the wear-resistant filler. A relationship between the velocity of the jet of atomizing gases and the size of the filler particles is established, due to which the maximum hardness values of the applied coatings are provided. The technology of metallization of wear-resistant composite coatings with a thickness of more than 0.8 mm by layer-by-layer deposition of monolithic and composite wires is proposed. It is established that the wear resistance of metallization coatings sprayed with composite powder wires exceeds the wear resistance of the galvanic chrome coating.
