PROGRESSIVE STRUCTURES OF INSTRUMENTS FOR THE COMBINED MAGNETIC-DYNAMIC STICKING OF CYLINDRICAL SURFACES

Abstract
Advanced design tools for combined magnetic-dynamic rolling of internal and external cylindrical surfaces of machine parts on machines of drilling-milling-boring and turning groups containing a compact magnetic system based on permanent cylindrical magnets are presented. In particular, the construction of tools that allow to remove ferromagnetic particles from the surface of the parts being processed, carry out (as necessary) cleaning of the annular chamber and deforming balls from ferromagnetic particles, synchronize the rotational speeds of the deforming balls and the magnetic system, and minimize wear on the end faces of the annular chamber are proposed. As a result of the improvement of tools, the quality characteristics of the treated surface are increased, the hardening process is effective, and the service life is extended.
