Abstract

The influence of the contour regeneration of the cutting tool by a pulsed magnetic field on the quality of the surfaces of parts and performance in magnetic abrasive processing is considered. The positive effect of an additional magnetic field on the quality and performance of magnetic abrasive treatment was established. The optimal values of the variable factors providing the maximum effect on the reduction of roughness after this treatment with an additional magnetic system are determined.
