ANALYTICAL ASSESSMENT OF NECESSARY PARAMETERS FLAME JET DURING DEPOSITION OF POLYMER COATINGS

Abstract
The process of heating the polymer powder and the polymer cord in the flame of propane-air mixture is analyzed. A theoretical estimation of the heat flux density during flame spraying of powders from thermoplastic polymers is carried out. The physical model of the process of flame spraying of polymer cords is considered. An expression is obtained that determines the relationship between the thermophysical, dynamic parameters of the gas jet and the feed rate of the polymer cord.
