WEAR RESISTANCE OF GAS-THERMAL COATINGS FROM COPPER-ALLOYS ON THE BASIS OF COPPER OBTAINED BY HIGH-SPEED METALLIZATION METHOD

Abstract
The structural phase state and tribotechnical properties of gas-thermal coatings from 08G2S, 40Cr13, 95Cr18 steels, as well as coatings from pseudo-alloys 08G2S + BrKMC3-1, 40Cr13 + BrKMC3-1, 95Cr18 + L63, were investigated. It is shown that sprayed pseudo-alloys contain a reduced amount of iron oxides FeO and Fe3O4, which is associated with the enveloping of steel particles by more easily fusible particles of copper alloys during gas thermal spraying. It has been established that coatings from pseudo-alloys 08G2S + BrKMC3-1 and 40Cr13 + BrKMC3-1 have higher wear resistance during friction paired with steel counterbody compared to steel coatings from 08G2S and 40Cr13 steels. In turn, gas-thermal coatings from 08G2S, 40Cr13 and 95Cr18 steels are characterized by higher wear resistance during friction on the counterbody made of brass L63 compared to coatings from pseudo-alloys 08G2S + BrKMC3-1, 40Cr13 + BrKMC3-1, 95Cr18 + L63.
