Abstract
The article provides a description of modern computer-aided design systems for heat exchange equipment, which are united by common tasks and mathematical methods; their most important differences will be adaptability to the perception of 3D models from other programs, ease of use for the designer and the method of providing reporting data. This article discusses a method for designing heat exchange equipment using the Ansys Workbrench program with fluid flow modeling using the finite element method.
