Abstract
Currently, catalytic afterburning is considered to be the most versatile method for reducing harmful impurities in exhaust gases. There are known catalytic systems for burning all regulated components or their combinations (threeway catalysts). However, the issue of developing new design and technological solutions remains relevant due to the fact that the application of a standard system on a specific internal combustion engine usually involves several difficulties.
The article discusses research on the development of a catalytic converter for gasoline motorcycle engines.
