INFLUENCE OF FLAME SPRAYING MODES OF POLYMER CORD ON THE PROPERTIES OF COATINGS FORMED

Abstract
The article presents the results of experimental studies of the formation of new coatings - flame spraying of polymer cords and extrudates. Coating designed gas-flame thermal spraying with a combustion chamber of an original design. Hardware provides heating and dispersing polymeric cord of the same gas stream. It is shown that the modes offormation of coatings by flame spraying polymer cords have a significant impact on the structure of the polymer, the adhesion strength of coatings, anti-friction properties. Spraying process conditions are defined, in which the coatings have a maximum adhesion strength (12... 14 MPa).The maximum adhesion values correspond to neutral flame with a slight excess of oxidant, i.e. to 1 volume of propane in a mixture accounts for 24...26 volumes of air. With increasing content of oxidant-fuel ratio is observed to increase the size of the torch supramolecular structures. It has been established that the value of utilization factor of the material having the greatest influence the combustion chamber pressure thermal spraying.
