DESIGN FEATURES OF HIGH-PRESSURE DEVICE FOR WATER JET MACHINING

Abstract
Constructional peculiarities of the device for water jet machining are demonstrated. It is shown, that the type of a high-pressure device for water jet machining depends on its purpose. Technical potential, application areas and the advantages of some constructive decisions are analyzed, which are the object of the given research. As a result of the analysis of two systems of high pressure generation with piston pumps and a hydraulic booster it has been found out that these systems have high operational characteristics, they can work safely for a long period of time, generating high working pressure at acceptable operating costs.
