Abstract

The article presents the results of a study of the relationship between the components of the psychoemotional states of the adolescent personality and the amount of time spent on the TikTok social network. The purpose of the study is to study the relationship between the psychoemotional state of a youth's personality and the time spent on the TikTok social network. The study used the "Scale of positive and negative affect" by D.Watson, L.Clark, A.Marianne (adapted by E.N. Osin), the “Pennsylvania Anxiety Questionnaire" by T.Meyer (adapted by P. Yarysheva), questionnaire "Scale of perceived stress, PSS 14" Sh.Cohen (adapted by A.A. Zolotoreva). Spearman's correlation analysis method was used to process the data.

Significant moderately positive correlations were found between the amount of time spent in the TikTok application and such indicators of perceived stress as the overall scale of perceived stress and the distress factor. A moderately positive relationship has been established between the amount of time spent in the TikTok app and the level of anxiety. A positive moderate significant correlation was also found between the time of using the TikTok application and the level of negative affect.
